We are seeking an experienced Program Medical Director to provide clinical and operational leadership for a well-established hospital medicine team in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Position Highlights

• Blend of clinical practice and leadership responsibilities
• 8 clinical shifts per month
• 84 hours of protected administrative time monthly

Leadership Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a seasoned hospital medicine team
• Partner with hospital administration and leadership to achieve organizational goals
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes
• Support provider engagement mentorship recruitment and retention
• Promote a culture of collaboration accountability and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital medicine leadership experience in an Associate Medical Director Medical Director or similar leadership role
• Strong communication team-building and operational leadership skills
