Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including entrances parking areas hallways and perimeter areas helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location assisting with visitor screening directions and reporting of suspicious conditions hazards and/or policy concerns.
• Support healthcare operations by helping to maintain order in public areas assisting with de-escalation when appropriate and following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
