Hospital Applications & Operations Support

Location: Westfield MA 01085
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Applications & Operations Specialist to support hospital applications EHR systems workflow initiatives implementations upgrades testing and end-user support.

The ideal candidate will understand healthcare operations and workflows and will work closely with clinical staff administrative teams technical teams vendors and end users. This is an operational healthcare applications role not a traditional IT project management or systems administration position.

• Support EHR and hospital applications including scheduling incident reporting policy management and other healthcare systems.
• Coordinate application implementations upgrades enhancements testing and go-live activities.
• Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test scenarios testers results and defect tracking.
• Gather and document business requirements workflows issues and process improvement opportunities.
• Identify the impact of application changes on hospital workflows policies procedures and staff.
• Coordinate training SOPs workflow documentation communications and implementation readiness.
• Serve as a super user/application resource and assist end users with application-related questions.
• Track issues risks dependencies and action items and coordinate resolution.
• Collaborate with clinical operational administrative technical and vendor stakeholders.
• Support EHR implementation optimization go-live and post-implementation stabilization.

• Experience supporting healthcare/hospital applications EHR systems implementations upgrades or optimization.
• Experience with UAT application testing or system implementation.
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and hospital operations.
• Ability to document business requirements workflows issues and process improvements.
• Strong communication organization problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• EHR implementation or optimization experience.
• Experience as an Application Coordinator Business Analyst Healthcare IT Specialist Super User or Application Support Specialist.
• Experience with UAT go-live support SOPs training materials and workflow documentation.
