Parts Counter Associate

We are seeking talented energetic and motivated individuals with the ambition to become part of our team. You must have a Can-Do attitude. Experience is not needed though certainly valued. Whether you are new to the industry or have years of automotive experience we are looking for individuals to work in the fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assists all customers (retail & shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly professionally & efficiently.
• Informs customers of part requirements and specials.
• Answers phone calls providing price quotes and other information.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Notifies manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order -if necessary.
• Notifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.
• Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.
• Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
• Ensure that all charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of their invoice.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to maintain a professional image and demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer & phone skills.
• Positive attitude is a must!
• Close out daily cash register and consolidate credit card invoices at the end of the day
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Qualifications:

• Parts experienced preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Maintain an organized orderly and clean workenvironment.
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must have a valid drivers license.

• Schedule/Hours are based on a 5-day rotating weekly schedule.
• M-F (8am-5pm/8:30am-5:30pm/ 9am-6pm)
• Saturday schedule (7am-4pm/8am-5pm/9am-6pm)
