Position at HQ Home Care-Certified
Health Quest Home Care - Home Health Aide:
Sign on Bonus
Salary Range:$19.50-$25.65
Responsibilities:
- Assists the patient with personal care activities including bathing oral hygiene feeding and dressing..
- Assists the client with exercises ambulation and transfer activities. This includes knowledge in use of assistive devices such as canes walkers crutches and lifts.
- Independently assists the patient with meal preparation/cooking and/or feeding.
- Must have working knowledge of special diets diet restrictions and techniques to maintain sanitary kitchen conditions to prevent food-borne illnesses.
- Assists the patient with medication prompts to remind the patient to self-administer his/her medications.
- Identifies changes in patient condition that require notification to the patients registered case manager.
- Takes vital signs to include temperature pulse heart rate respiratory rate.
Required:
- Active NYS Home Health Aide Certification. Drivers License.
