Job Summary

Make a real difference close to home. People Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) across Long Island all 5 boroughs and Westchester. We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to provide services to our clients in Long Island.

  • Start Pay: $19.65 per hour
  • Location: Nassau County & Suffolk County
  • Union Status: Non-Union position

About the Role

As an HHA or PCA youll help patients live safely and comfortably in their own homes assisting with daily activities offering companionship and providing essential care that enhances their quality of life. What Youll Do

  • Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing and grooming
  • Help with mobility transfers and safe lifting techniques
  • Support meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate care documentation and report any changes in condition
  • Follow all HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality
