Job Summary
Under the direction of the Client Services Supervisor the CNA/HHA provides hands-on care to adult clients in their homes. This role focuses on personal care safety dignity and comfort - while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
What Youll Do
- Provide direct one-on-one care to clients in their homes
- Assist with personal care such as bathing grooming dressing and toileting
- Safely lift transfer and assist clients with mobility
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
- Document care activities accurately and on time
- Work flexible hours to support client needs (great for per-diem caregivers!)
What Were Looking For
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- 1 year of healthcare or caregiving experience preferred
Certification
- Home Health Aide (HHA): Employed as a nurses aide within the past 24 months OR Willing to pass an agency-approved competency test
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA): Active Connecticut Nurse Aide Registration required
