Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide exceptional in-home support to clients inSouthgate MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in their own homes.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report changes in clients health or behavior to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

• Previous experience in home care or a similar role plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.
• Reliable transportation to and from job locations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record (if applicable).
• Pass background check and drug screening.
