Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Dexter this role you will provide essential support to clients in their homes helping them maintain independence and quality of life through personalized care and companionship.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders and report any changes in client health or behavior
• Help with light housekeeping and errands to ensure a clean and safe living environment
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and family members

• Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
• Ability to pass background checks
