We have caregiver positions open in the East County.We offer competitive pay starting at $19/hr and upwill be determined by applicants experience availability and distance willing to travel to shifts. We also offer paid training insurance benefits to qualifying caregivers flexible hours based on your availability and so much more.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of a caregiver at Golden Careis to providehigh-quality non-medicalcare and support services to clientsdeliveringcarewithprofessionalism empathycompassionkindnessandinarespectfulmanner. Somecaregiverduties includebut not limitedto;
- Providecompanionship and emotional support to clients.
- Providing clients withAlzheimers/Dementiaorrelatedbehaviors (i.e. wandering paranoia)a safeand secure environmentbymonitoringtheirhealthandsafety as itis a priority.
- Assistclientswithall theirADLs(Activatesof DailyLiving)inaccordance withindividualized care plans(i.e.personal hygieneassistanceoral care grooming toiletingincontinencecarebathingdressing etc.)
- Light housekeeping laundry and organizingtomaintaina clean-living environment.
- Mealpreparation andassistwith feeding if needed.
- Transferring & Ambulationprovidesafetystabilityandsupportwhileclientismobileandduringtransfers.
- Transportation (i.e. appointments grocery shopping errandsoutingsetc.)
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
- MUST have at least 3 months of professional experienceworking as a caregiver;
- MUST be or willingtoregister as a California Home Care Aide(HCA);
- MUST be able to clear a criminal background checkby the DOJ/FBI;
- MUST haveacurrentNegative Tuberculosis (TB) test(or willingness to complete one);
- MUST obtainavalidDrivers Licenseand a reliable vehicle;
- MUST be 18 years of age or older;
- MUSTbe able toprovide 2 forms of IDsuch as a Drivers licensesocialsecurity Passport and or Birth certificate;
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Followclientsprovided plan of care safetyprecautionsand procedures.
- Monitorobserveandreportsuspectedconcerns orchange of clients conditionor healthstatusto a supervisoror theappropriate partiesimmediately.
- Communicate effectively andrespond to all forms of communication from the officein a timely manner.
SKILLS NEEDED:
- MUST be reliabledependableand beon-time.
- MUST dress professionally.
- MUST be kind empathetic compassionaterespectfulhave a positive attitudeandgreat workethics.
- MUST have apassionandthedesireto helpothersimprove theirquality of lifewhilemaintainingclients self-respect dignity safety and confidentiality.
- MUST be comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and caredocumentation.
