Holy Trinity School located at 225 S. Columbus Street in Somerset is seeking a joyful faith-filled and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher who desires to help form young hearts and minds in the truth goodness and beauty of the Catholic faith. We are looking for an educator who sees teaching not simply as a profession but as a vocation.

The successful candidate will cultivate a classroom where students grow spiritually intellectually socially and emotionally while laying a strong foundation in literacy mathematics and the Catholic faith.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm orderly and engaging classroom rooted in Christian charity and respect.
- Teach kindergarten students using developmentally appropriate instruction that promotes curiosity joyful learning and academic excellence.
- Build strong foundations in early literacy through systematic phonics reading handwriting and language development.
- Develop early mathematical thinking through hands-on exploration number sense and problem-solving.
- Integrate the Catholic faith throughout the school day through prayer Scripture virtue formation and participation in the liturgical life of the school.
- Foster habits of attentiveness perseverance kindness responsibility and wonder.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents recognizing them as the primary educators of their children.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the mission of Holy Trinity School.
- Participate in faculty meetings professional development and school events.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional Permanent or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
- Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
- Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting Gods Children training
- Practicing Catholic preferred or a candidate who fully supports the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A love for young children and a commitment to helping each child reach his or her God-given potential.
