Hiring CDL-A Trainees – Get Paid While You Train

The Numbers

• Trainee pay: guaranteed weekly paid every week youre training
• Solo pay: $1200 to $1500/week average line haul scale
• Top 25% of drivers: $1700/week
• $1000/week guaranteed your first 3 months after going solo
• Mileage bonus: up to $0.06/mile for qualified drivers
• Stop pay $15 plus $20 for assist/pallet jack/tailgate or $80 for a full hand unload

The Route

• 11 western states: AZ CA CO ID MT NV NM OR UT WA WY
• Most trips: 2 days or less
• Want more miles Option to run beyond the 11 states
• 1700 to 2100 miles/week
• 100% no touch 70% drop and hook / 30% live load-unload

The Training

• One-on-one mentor for your OTR training period
• Straight to solo mileage pay once youre cleared
• Requirement: 120 hours from an accredited CDL school

The Schedule

• Home every 2 weeks
• Day and night dispatch
• Weekends worked holidays negotiable with your driver leader
• Some winter driving involved

The Requirements

• New CDL-A or 6 months verifiable solo experience
• Teams welcome
• Valid Class A CDL current DOT medical card 21
• Clean MVR background check
• Hair and urine drug screen
