Flexible Scheduling:
- Short or long shifts available we work with your availability
- Minimum case length: 4 hours
- Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable professional and patient-centered
- Must maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications
- Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain them
- Prior home care experience strongly preferred
- Drivers preferred
- Medical/health benefits available*
- Up to 56 hours of paid sick time per year based on hours worked

* Subject to one year of employment and 1560 hours worked (average of 30 hours/week).
** Subject to one year of employment and 1000 hours worked (average of 20 hours/week).
Alvita Care is a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers. We provide In-Home Personal Care Alzheimers & Dementia Care Palliative & Hospice Care and Geriatric Care Management. We have earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval and exclusively serve private-pay clients.
As we continue to grow we are seeking dedicated caregivers for both private-duty one-on-one care and facility-based care. All applicants will complete a phone screening to determine compatibility and availability. Please note that cases are only available to caregivers who successfully complete the Alvita Care onboarding process.
