Job Title: Health Information Management Tech

As a Health Information Management Tech you will:

• In collaboration with others monitors and audits EHR documentation.

• Reviews records as scheduled or on ad hoc basis to establish completeness accuracy and timeliness of documentation

• As directed performs audit of metadata to detect potential privacy breeches related to EHR access

• Selects appropriate or defined sample size to support audit validity

• In collaboration with others monitors and reviews MPI duplicate reports to ensure timely processing and correction

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and experience in Medical Office Medical Records or other applicable health care experience.

• Strong knowledge of Medical Record concepts including record completion requirementschart tracking and release of information procedures.

• Knowledge of data analysis concepts.

• Experience with Computer skills to include Excel Word and Microsoft Outlook.

FT/PT Benefit eligible Roles:

**0.4 FTE (16 hours weekly) up to 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
