Make a Difference
The Senior Patient Care Technician works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs direct patient care such as bathing assisting with elimination bed making and vital signs. Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe timely and professional manner. Greets and orients patients to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patients. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.
Patient Care Technician

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting have excellent communication skills and a positive attitudetoward problem-solving.
High School diploma or GED required
Ability to use a computer for documentation and work related purposes
Must be able to lift
Must be available for one week of full-time training
Three (3) months of Clinical Experience or CNA license required OR currently enrolled in Nursing school
Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures routine laboratory tests referrals and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. As an MA you will also actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.
- Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.
- Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies
- Room patients and manage an efficient flow of providers caseload
- Obtain necessary vital signs EKGs and/or specimen collection
- Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system
- Perform Point of Care Testing based on patients chief complaint and available protocols
- Process referrals and medication refills
