Job Summary
Uncommon Collegiate Charter School is looking for a passionate high-energy Drumline Coach to lead our growing performance and competition team Cyclone Surge.
We are searching for a coach who can build culture push excellence and create an authentic drumline experience for our students both on and off the field.
The Drumline Coach will:
Teach and develop students in percussion fundamentals and performance skills
Manage and coach a team of 1525 high school students
Create choreography cadences show music and performance routines
Prepare students for showcases competitions pep rallies and school events
Build team culture accountability leadership and discipline
Travel with students to performances and competitions throughout the school year

Tuesday & Thursday: 2:05 PM 3:10 PM
After-School Practices
Tuesday & Thursday: 3:45 PM 5:30 PM
Wednesday: 3:45 PM 5:30 PM
Qualifications :
Experience coaching or performing in drumline marching band HBCU-style band culture or percussion ensembles
Strong leadership and classroom management skills
Ability to teach choreography and performance techniques
Passion for mentoring and developing young people
High energy professionalism and commitment to team growth

Compensation
Coaches will receive an annual stipend of $$5000 based on experience and contracted hours per week paid semi-monthly.
If at any point during the year you stop performing these responsibilities before they are fully completed for any reason your stipend will be adjusted in accordance.
