Job Summary
TITLE: COLOR GUARD ASSISTANT SPONSOR
REPORTS TO: Band Director
SUPERVISES: Band Students
BASIC FUNCTION: To provide leadership coordination and instruction of color guard
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist band director in the instruction of all color guard activities and practices per approved schedule from the band director.
- Teach and refine the color guard routine
- Provide after school practices per approved schedule from the band director.
- Assist band director in designing of flags and costumes.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with high school and/or drum corps
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Work schedule to be established between July 1 - June 30 during marching band and colorguard seasons.
- Stipend - Salary as established by the Board of Education.
