As a High School School Clinician at Pinnacle School you will provide individualized support build strong partnerships with families and colleagues and empower students to grow academically socially and emotionally in a relationship-centered learning environment.

What Youll Need

  • Doctorate or Masters degree in School Psychology School Social Work School Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy or related field with appropriate Connecticut certification

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting children in a therapeutic or educational setting

  • Experience working with students in special education and familiarity with the IEP process and progress monitoring

  • Knowledge of executive functioning coaching social skills development CBT DBT and relationship-based therapeutic approaches

  • Strong communication collaboration and family partnership skills with a passion for helping every student reach their full potential

What Youll Do

  • Provide individual and small group counseling that supports students social emotional and behavioral growth

  • Partner with teachers therapists and families to develop and implement individualized student support plans

  • Conduct psychological assessments monitor student progress and contribute to IEP development and review meetings

  • Use evidence-based therapeutic strategies to strengthen executive functioning emotional regulation and social skills

  • Foster a safe supportive and relationship-centered environment where students can build confidence and independence
