High School Business Education Teacher

Conestoga Valley School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Business Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching a strong background in business education and the ability to engage and inspire high school students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons in business education subjects such as accounting marketing entrepreneurship and business ethics
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
• Assess and evaluate student progress providing timely feedback to support their academic development
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum share resources and enhance the overall educational experience
• Stay updated on current trends and developments in business education to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences school events and professional development activities
• Exemplify the Profile of a CV Learner competencies: Innovative Problem Solver Communicator Collaborator Lifelong Learner and Global Citizen

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education Business Education or a related field
• A State teaching certification
• Strong knowledge of business education curriculum and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Commitment to professional development and staying current in the field

Any of the listed certifications are required.
