We are seeking an enthusiastic and student-focused High School Biology Teacher to inspire the next generation of scientists and critical thinkers. The successful candidate will deliver standards-aligned biology instruction promote scientific literacy and foster a positive inclusive learning environment that prepares students for college careers and lifelong learning.

• Teach high school Biology courses aligned with state curriculum standards.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate laboratory investigations scientific inquiry and technology.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
• Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments while providing timely feedback.
• Create a safe and effective laboratory environment that follows all science safety protocols.
• Foster critical thinking problem-solving collaboration and scientific communication skills.
• Integrate educational technology and digital resources into daily instruction.
• Maintain accurate student records grades attendance and progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents administrators and support staff regarding student performance.
• Participate in faculty meetings professional development school events and collaborative planning activities.

• Bachelors degree in Biology Life Sciences Science Education or a related field.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher of Biology Certification required.
• Previous experience teaching Biology at the high school level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of biology curriculum laboratory instruction and scientific methodology.
• Experience developing standards-based lesson plans and assessments.
• Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to integrate instructional technology into classroom learning.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive equitable and student-centered learning environment.
