Hi-Tech Superintendent (Semiconductor Project)

• Location: North Phoenix AZ (semiconductor project site)
  
• Job type: Full-time on site
  
• Schedule: 60/60/50 rotation with early morning and evening communication as needed
  

An Arizona industrial and structural steel contractor (since 1974) with its own fabrication shop and field ironwork crews currently staffing a major semiconductor (hi-tech) project.

• 3 years as a Superintendent or 5 years as a General Foreman
  
• Extensive field experience as an ironworker and foreman
  
• Has managed on-site crews of 50 or more
  
• Can run an equipment plan for 20 pieces of equipment
  
• Can work a 60/60/50 schedule
  
• Will complete the NCCER Superintendent Certification Program
  

Youll lead the on-site team and run day-to-day operations on a hi-tech facility keeping work safe on schedule and on budget and holding the team accountable.

• Work with Project Managers and the general contractor to build a smart erection plan
  
• Set manpower: crew size and skill mix to hold the schedule; recruit interview discipline and promote crew members
  
• Coach foremen and crews on hazards and controls and champion job site safety
  
• Develop and run the on-site equipment management plan (20 pieces)
  
• Attend customer meetings and report status and progress across multiple scopes
  
• Give PMs job costing information and strategies to meet budget
  

• 3 years as a Superintendent or 5 years as a General Foreman
  
• Ironworker and foreman field background
  
• Job costing and production forecasting know-how
  
• Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
  
• High school diploma or GED
  
• Able to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work on elevated structures
  
• Safety-sensitive position under Arizona law
  

• Lead the field on a major semiconductor project
  
• Large crews and real ownership of the site
