We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as the HI- LTC House Supervisor. The role involves providing leadership and oversight in a long-term care setting ensuring high standards of nursing care patient safety and regulatory compliance. The House Supervisor will coordinate nursing staff activities manage patient care issues and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality healthcare services. This position requires strong communication clinical expertise and the ability to work rotating shifts including consecutive weekends.
Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
Coordinate patient care activities and resolve clinical issues as they arise.
Conduct patient assessments and oversee treatment planning and medication administration.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Provide leadership during assigned shifts including managing emergencies and staffing concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to patient care and staff performance.
Required Skills & Certifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii prior to contract start.
Minimum of two years experience in hospital home health or hospice care settings.
Strong clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
Drivers license car insurance and reliable automobile for field work.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
Experience in long-term care or supervisory nursing roles.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in LTC settings.
Special Considerations:
Must be able to work consecutive weekends as needed.
Rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
Work environment primarily in long-term care facility.
Scheduling:
40 hours per week.
Rotating shifts with weekend coverage requirements.
