General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Must be competent to proficient in: Abdomen (Aorta IVC Liver/Biliary Pancreas Spleen and Renal. Both normal and Pathology). GYN (breast ovaries Adnexa Uterus Pelvis. Pathology and normal post-menopausal transvaginal adult and pediatric). OB (1st 2nd and 3rd trimester amniocentesis complications biophysical profile gestational age placental grading abnormalities IGUR Uterus/Adnexa). Procedures to include aspirations biopsies drainage and intraoperative. Neonatal (congenital anomalies and neonatal head). Superficial structures (Abdominal wall breast focal masses hematoma scrotum & testes thyroid. Vascular (Carotid duplex segmental pressure studies upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Canon i700; Meditech EMR Fuji Synapse PACSRequired skills and minimum years of experience: Min 3 years experience in an acute hospital contract or more experienceMinimum 3 years experience as full-time sonographerSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required: ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT). Active BLS - must be AHA or schedule requirements: 40-hour shift work and call when appropriate. Floating to other units/ Code: Personal scrubs healthcare professional attire.
