Position Highlights
Job Summary: Customer Service provides customer service general office secretarial duties including reception taking referrals managing documents developing reports filing general billing duties and office communication.
Essential Functions
- Greets customers/families and patients.
- Completes sales orders
- Handles telephone calls distributes and documents the information appropriately.
- Receives incoming orders for equipment and documents accordingly as well as contacting appropriate field personnel.
- Tracks all outgoing and incoming documents and receives them into Epic.
- Compiles maintains and monitors data as assigned.
- Achieves and maintains a thorough knowledge base of the multiple working systems in Home Health. Systems include but not limited to Epic Homecare Epic Brightree Airview USleep and Therap.
- Communicates with referral sources.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all services available to patients and families.
- Maintains office in an organized manner. Organizes files and supplies. Monitors supplies and need for future orders.
- Direct Care in patient homes
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service preferred.
- Experience in Durable Medical Equipment preferred.
