Heavy Truck Technician Mechanic

About the Role

We are seeking a technician who can perform diagnostics and mechanical repairs on a broad range of heavyâduty and specialized municipal equipment including vac trucks hydro vacs street sweepers and refuse or recycling trucks. This role involves working closely with our Service Writer and Parts team to keep operations running smoothly while carrying out preventative maintenance and maintaining a clean organized and safetyâfocused workspace.

What Youll Do

• Perform safety inspections diagnostics and mechanical repairs on a wide range of heavy-duty and niche municipal equipment.
• Work on vac trucks hydro vacs street sweepers refuse/recycling trucks and more.
• Collaborate with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure efficient service.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain a clean safe workspace.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate; based on education and experience
• Quarterly bonus opportunity up to $1500.00
• Annual performance review with increase opportunity
• Technician sign-on bonus up to $1500.00 based on experience

Position Details

Location: Pharr Texas

Status: Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday - occasional extended hours may be required based on operational needs.

What You Bring

• Education from an accredited technical school in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair preferred but not required
• Valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract

• Completion of a job-related background check in accordance with applicable laws

• 3 years experience working in a mechanic / technician role
• Experienced with hydraulic and/or electrical work
