Job Type / Schedule: Full-Time 2nd Shift 2:30 PM11:00 PM Overtime required when needed
Pronto Staffing is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a busy industrial production setting.
Job Summary
Pronto Staffing is hiring a dependable team member to drive large this role you will safely move and stack very large materials around the facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves hands-on work and has experience handling heavy loads.
Responsibilities
Drive heavy-capacity sit-down diesel forklifts safely
Move load unload and stack oversized materials up to 50000 pounds
Check the equipment every day and report any issues
Follow all safety rules and stay aware of people around you
Give materials to production teams to help keep the work moving
Help keep the work areas clean neat and safe
Talk clearly with supervisors and teammates about what needs to be moved
Requirements
1 or more years of experience driving a forklift
Experience moving heavy or oversized loads is helpful
Good understanding of forklift safety and material handling
Ability to understand and follow spoken and written directions
Ability to speak English or Spanish
Steel-toe boots long pants and a work shirt are required
Work Environment
Must be able to safely climb on and off forklifts throughout the day
Ability to lift 70 pounds repeatedly
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions
Regular exposure to heat dust and loud noise
