Heavy Equipment Operator

H₂O Innovation is seeking a new team member for the position ofHeavy Equipment Operatorto join our Gulfport MS team. Our next colleague will hold a full time & permanent position. Your primary duty will involve operating heavy equipment to clean ditches and ensure proper drainage flow.

The Day-to-Day

• Perform ditch cleaning to maintain optimal hydraulic and drainage flow.
• Operate a variety of equipment such as excavators dozers backhoes and graders.
• Ensure all daily operations adhere to safety protocols and are executed efficiently.
• Request utility line locates and complies with line locate policies.
• Prepare and submit written reports as required.

The Skills We Are Looking For

• Valid drivers license and high school diploma/GED.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating excavators backhoes dozers and graders.
• Experience with pipe-laying in the construction field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and establishing grade preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the public team members and supervisors.
• Capable of performing physical tasks in diverse weather conditions.

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
