Heavy Equipment Operator – Day Shift

Location:Denton TX

Pay:$19.50 per hour

Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire Day Shift 4:00 AM start time Overtime and occasional Saturdays required

Pronto Staffing is seeking a skilled equipment operator for a busy local manufacturing facility.

Job Summary

Pronto Staffing is hiring a dependable team member to operate large machinery in a production this role you will safely move raw materials to support the manufacturing process. This position requires operating heavy equipment in tight spaces and working around automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials safely through the production area using a heavy front-end wheel loader

• Operate different styles and brands of large wheel loaders

• Supply the grinding area with the correct materials needed for processing

• Drive safely through high-traffic areas with tight turns and blind corners

• Use automated equipment and help in different areas of the facility as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience operating large wheel loaders (3.5 yards and up)

• Strong understanding of safe and efficient equipment operation

• Ability to read write and speak English

• Willingness to work flexible 8-10 hour shifts and Saturdays when needed

Work Environment

• Must be comfortable performing manual labor in a harsh industrial environment

• Must be comfortable working at heights

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

• Proper safety gear required including steel-toe boots jeans a T-shirt a hard hat and safety glasses
