Job Summary

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking aHeavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanicto join our dynamic and energetic team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment for our fleet department local to the Southern California area.

What youll do:

  • Repair and maintain heavy equipment including heavy and light duty trucks large foundation drilling rigs loaders bobcats and other support equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment as well as heavy and light duty trucks.
  • Perform Federal Highway Administration inspections.
  • Assure that heavy equipment is in working order.
  • Respond to and communicate with internal customer requests for service.

Who you are:

  • CDL license Class A with manual endorsement desired
  • Willing to consider Class B withmanual endorsement
  • 5 years of experience
  • Natural engineering and problem-solving senses
  • Welding and fabricating skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Dependable and reliable attendance
  • Able to commit to 2-week travel rotation (home every other weekend)

This is a union position and base pay is determined by current union rates. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
