Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Construction Diesel) Columbia, SC

• Diagnose repair and maintain heavy equipment including excavators loaders dozers and other machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
• Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues
• Coordinate with operators and supervisors to address equipment concerns
• Maintain accurate service records and complete repair documentation
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA and safety standards

• Experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics engines and electrical systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
• Experience in construction or industrial environments preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime when needed

• Physically demanding role including lifting up to 60 lbs
• Exposure to outdoor conditions noise dirt and heavy equipment
• Use of PPE required at all times
