Job Description:
We are looking for a safety-focused and motivated Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our this role you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing company-owned equipment to ensure reliable operation in the field.

This position requires expertise in mechanical electrical hydraulic and welding repairs on a variety of heavy construction equipment including excavators material handlers front-end loaders shears skid steers balers and diesel trucks. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision and efficiently diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan organize and coordinate assigned repair and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostic testing to determine repair needs.
• Perform welding electrical mechanical and hydraulic repairs as required.
• Install align and balance new equipment.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and equipment service records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Keep the work area and shop clean and organized.
• Follow all company and industry safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to team success.
• Be punctual and proactive in assisting with additional tasks as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (Required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (Required).
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to bend stoop stand and walk for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Ability to work safely in changing environments while maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Occasional lifting of heavy loads (50 lbs.).
• Ability to stand walk and use manual tools throughout the workday.
