Pipkin Inc. is seeking a motivated Project Engineer who wants to build a long-term career managing complex infrastructure projects throughout Washington State. This position is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of construction or engineering experience who wants to develop into a Project Manager and eventually lead projects independently.

Compensation: Base compensation $80000 - $110000 DOE Vehicle Allowance Annual Bonus Potential Benefits Package including medical dental life insurance 401(k) paid sick leave.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer who wants to build a long-term career managing complex infrastructure projects throughout Washington State.

This position is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of construction or engineering experience who wants to develop into a Project Manager and eventually lead projects independently.

Primary Responsibilities

Review plans specifications and contract documents
Assist with quantity takeoffs and estimating
Prepare submittals RFIs and project documentation
Track project costs production and schedule performance
Assist with change orders and progress billings
Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and project stakeholders
Participate in project meetings and owner communications
Support quality control and project closeout activities
Conduct regular field visits to support operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of construction engineering or project coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments
  • Willingness to travel throughout Washington as needed.
  • Ability to work in both office and construction site environments including walking on uneven terrain climbing ladders or slopes and performing site inspections in varying weather conditions.
