Heating and Air Conditioning Install Technician
Job Summary
What Were Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of HVAC installation or service experience (required)
EPA Type II certification (preferred)
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required)
Must pass a background check and drug test prior to start
Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose installation issues and confirm proper system performance before job closeout
Working knowledge of electrical systems including reading wiring diagrams making connections and following electrical safety procedures
Foundational plumbing skills for condensate lines gas piping connections and related HVAC piping work
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices to support reliable system operation after installation
Experience with residential and/or light commercial HVAC installation preferred
Ability to safely use hand and power tools lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) work from ladders and operate in confined or tight spaces
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions as part of a field-based role
Able to read and interpret basic blueprints installation manuals and job plans
Strong communication skills and a professional team-oriented approach - youll be representing KW Lang on job sites and in customers homes
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an HVAC trade school program or apprenticeship is a plus
