    Required:
    High school Diploma or GED equivalent

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary/Objective:The Vision and/or Health Screener is prepared to screen withina school success is directly related to the status of a students health

    Essential Functions:

    • Vision and/or Health Screener

    • Must be willing to work as a team member of the hearing and vision screening team
    • Inform the nurse or audiologist of any concerns as needed.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
    • Prefer experience with children or school health program


    Other Duties:Must be able to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students. Ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies. Visual auditory and ambulatory ability. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Conflict management skills. Strong organizational skills. Empathetic. Positive relationship builder. Knowledge skills and abilities sufficient to perform the function of the position as outlined.
