Overview
We are seeking an accounting professional with direct experience preparing Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports for healthcare organizations. This individual should understand healthcare reimbursement methodologies cost allocation regulatory reporting and financial compliance requirements for providers participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.

Key Experience Required
Preparation and review of Medicare Cost Reports (CMS-2552 CMS-2540 or similar)
Preparation and review of Medicaid Cost Reports
Understanding of healthcare reimbursement regulations
Cost allocation methodologies
Healthcare financial reporting and compliance
General ledger and financial statement preparation
Regulatory audits and reimbursement audits
Healthcare budgeting and forecasting

Strongly Preferred
CPA
Healthcare reimbursement consulting experience
Experience with hospitals nursing homes home health hospice or other Medicare/Medicaid-funded providers
Experience managing client relationships or healthcare facility relationships
Public accounting background with healthcare clients
