AsaHealthcare ReimbursementAnalyticsIntern you will work withhealth care reimbursement specialiststo analyzeclaimsreimbursement data create reports andidentifytrends affecting healthcare financial performancewhile gaining knowledge on the healthcare payer negotiation andreimbursement process.Youllgain exposure to claims processing payer reimbursement denial management and operational analytics.
What Youll Do:
Assistin analyzinghealthcareclaimswithfocusonutilization types of servicedenialsreimbursement trends etc.
Use SQL to source claims data
Use Microsoft Excel to organizevalidateanalyzeand summarizelarge healthcare datasets.
Support reporting and dashboard development toidentifyreimbursement savingsopportunities andinefficiencies.
Reimbursementforcommercial Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Medicare claims for both metro and rural Nebraska
Collaborate with cross-functional teamsand stakeholders on claims and reimbursement focus areas
Document findings andassistwith presenting recommendations to stakeholders
Find opportunities to improve patient access to care
To be considered for this position you must have:
Currently pursuing aBachelorsdegree (or higher)Healthcare Administration Business Analytics Finance Information Systems Public Health ora relatedfield.
The most qualified candidates will also possess some or all of the following:
Strongproficiencyin Microsoft Excel including PivotTables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP formulas and data analysis.
Familiarity with SQL or willingness to learn.
Strong interest in healthcare finance reimbursementcontractingrevenue cycle or healthcare operations.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
