Healthcare Data Analyst – Specialty Pharmacy

Job Summary
A growing healthcare services organization is seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst to support data operations client integrations and issue resolution. This role will research and resolve data exceptions manage technical business rules analyze complex healthcare data and work directly with clients and internal technical teams.
Candidates must have previous experience within healthcare and specialty pharmacy pharmaceutical services patient support programs reimbursement services or healthcare hub services.
- Research and resolve data exceptions validation issues discrepancies and escalations involving batch and API traffic.
- Communicate directly with clients and internal teams regarding technical and data-related issues and resolutions.
- Create manage and improve datasets and technical rules across multiple products and services.
- Analyze clean organize and validate complex healthcare data.
- Identify trends patterns discrepancies and potential data-quality issues.
- Partner with business and technical teams to identify root causes and resolve issues.
- Document and maintain business and functional requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality processes and operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects priorities and client deliverables simultaneously.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA privacy security and program requirements.
- Previous professional experience within the healthcare industry is required.
- Previous experience within specialty pharmacy pharmaceutical services patient support programs reimbursement services healthcare hub services or a closely related healthcare environment is required.
- Experience working with healthcare data systems operations integrations or workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with experience collecting organizing analyzing and interpreting complex data.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience investigating and resolving data discrepancies or exceptions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work directly with clients and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving organizational and multitasking skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and handling protected or confidential healthcare information.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Must be able to work on a W2 basis.
- SQL or similar database querying experience.
- Experience working with APIs and API traffic.
- Postman SoapUI or similar API testing tools.
- Experience troubleshooting batch data or system integrations.
- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transaction experience.
- Experience working with rules engines or technical business rules.
The ideal candidate combines healthcare industry knowledge with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. This person should be comfortable digging into complex data issues identifying root causes communicating with clients and technical teams and managing multiple priorities.
Experience supporting specialty pharmacy patient access reimbursement hub services or programs focused on helping patients start and remain on therapy is particularly important.
- Full-time 40 hours per week
- W2 contract position
