In this role you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has ICD-10 training a knowledge of medical terminology must be a TMA and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator is preferred.

Position Type:Full-Time benefits eligible position

Shift Available: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Wage Range:$21.46 - $24.06 / hour depending on experience

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities:

• Enter physicians orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedulemedical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents family members and facility visitors.
• Assist withinventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

• Must be a Trained Medication Aide (TMA).
• 2 years experience as a healthunit coordinator or health information certification desired.
• Must have ICD-10 training.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced multi-taskenvironment.
