Health Teacher (.6)

Ipswich High School is seeking an engaging and passionate educator for a 0.6 FTE Health Teacher position for the upcoming school year. This role is dedicated to empowering high school students with the knowledge critical thinking skills and wellness strategies necessary to make informed decisions regarding their physical mental and social-emotional health. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive supportive classroom environment implementing a comprehensive health curriculum that aligns with state standards and promotes lifelong healthy habits.

• Teach three (3) sections of Health Education per semester.
• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned lesson plans that promote physical mental and emotional well-being.
• Assess and monitor student progress maintaining accurate grading records and constructive feedback.
• Create a supportive inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Candidates must possess the following credentials at the time of application:

• Massachusetts DESE Health Teacher License
• Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students parents coaches and administration.
