Health Teacher (2026-27 School Year)

Shore Educational Collaborative was established in 1975 as one of 24 educational collaboratives in Massachusetts providing public special education to students with disabilities. Over 180 students aged 3-22 attend our school in Chelsea receiving a comprehensive education and related services.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate Health lessons for PK-Post Secondary students ages 3-22 with disabilities that are aligned with State Frameworks and National Health Education Standards.
• Teach skills necessary to provide understanding and appreciation of health and wellness.
• Adapt and modify the Health curriculum and differentiate instruction by using scaffolded instructional material inclusive practices and SEI strategies to meet the needs of all students.
