Job Summary
As a member of the team youll have the opportunity to take a lead role in crafting the next advancements in Apples health software ecosystem! We work on the Health appa platform for Health and Fitness efforts across Appleas well as related features and experiences that broaden the definition of what our platform can do. You will work with experienced engineers designers and medical experts to design features that delight users as well as form a solid technical foundation for future development. Excellent engineering collaboration and leadership skills are all essential. nn
Implement new health-related features across Apple platforms that meet or exceed our high standards for quality nForge collaborative relationships with a wide variety of cross-functional teams to prototype ideas develop plans and make product and architectural decisions nEvangelize our values and contribute to design and architecture reviews nCommunicate ideas and best practices to other teams in Health and across Apple nAccurately scope the effort and work items required to complete large (multi-month) feature projects nDesign and build testable software working closely with QA nDiagnose triage fix and prevent issues related to functionality reliability and performance
5 years of software engineering experiencenDemonstrated passion for developing phenomenal user experience on iOSnExperience analyzing large features to understand and improve performance nAdvanced programming skills in Swift and/or Objective-CnBS Computer Science or equivalentn
Familiarity with wellness or medical concepts nProduce maintainable and scalable code in significant shipping productsnExcited about learning and passionate about new technologyn
