Position Summary

Health Services Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of a pilot project to enhance the school nursing services across Genesee County. The Health Services Nurse Coordinator will provide supervision mentorship professional development and orientation to new school nurses. The Health Services Nurse Coordinator will facilitate a countywide community of practice for school nurses that leads to improved health services and education for the children and families in Genesee County.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in nursing or related field is required. State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required; current CPR preferred. Masters degree in related field preferred.

Three years experience working with children in a school pediatric health setting or as a volunteer. Leadership experience in a nursing environment. Strong knowledge of computer technology word processing and database software required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:$64372 - $89854 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications

Work Schedule: 215 days / 7.5 hours daily

Paid Time Off:

• 2.5 Personal Business Days
• 8.2 Vacation Days
• Bereavement Leave
