ABA Squad is hiring a full-time Health Services Coordinator to support our client intake and authorization process. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable working with families insurance verification and healthcare/ABA documentation.
This position is a key part of our onboarding process and helps move new referrals from initial caregiver inquiry to assessment and therapy authorization.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time
- $23$26/hour based on experience plus Bonus opportunities
- Hybrid schedule
- Work from home: Mondays & Fridays
- In office: Tuesdays Wednesdays & Thursdays

What Youll Do
- Answer caregiver calls and guide families through the intake process
- Collect and document intake information for new referrals
- Send intake packets and consent forms to families
- Follow up with caregivers on incomplete paperwork missing signatures and pending documents
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new referrals
- Request and track initial assessment authorizations and therapy authorizations
- Maintain accurate records in company systems and intake tracking tools
- Follow up with families and insurance companies to keep cases moving forward
- Complete monthly eligibility checks and annual benefits verification for active clients
What Were Looking For
- Experience in healthcare intake insurance verification authorizations ABA administration medical office administration or a similar role
- Strong phone follow-up and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open cases
- Experience working with commercial insurance and/or Medicaid
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable learning and using multiple systems spreadsheets and payer portals
- ABA pediatric therapy or behavioral health experience is a plus
