Metallus Internship Program

At Metallus our internship program is designed to make you part of our team. You will have opportunities to grow your skills develop as a leader and network with our managers and leaders. Internship Assignment: Full Time Summer 2027

• Start date: 05/17/2027

• Assist with safety audits inspections and field observations

• Support incident near-miss and hazard reporting reviews

• Help maintain safety documentation training records and data tracking

• Participate in safety training sessions toolbox talks and meetings

• Assist with development of safety communications and materials

• Emergency Action Plan improvements/reviews/development

• Job Safety Analysisreview and validation

• Plant Safety Lead support

• Support special safety projects as assigned

Internship Qualifications:

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

• Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027semester

• Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university

• Preferred majors: Occupational Safety Industrial Hygiene Environmental Health & Safety orrelated

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
