Job Summary

Position: Health Information Clerk

Bausch-White Masonry LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Information Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading masonry contractor we specialize in providing high-quality masonry services to our clients. We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the Health Information Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all employees

- Collect and organize health information from various sources including medical exams immunizations and injury reports

- Ensure all health records are properly filed and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures

- Monitor and track employee health status and follow up on any required medical appointments or treatments

- Prepare and distribute health-related reports to management as needed

- Assist with the administration of employee benefits including health insurance and workers compensation claims

- Stay informed about current health and safety regulations and make recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees

- Maintain confidentiality of all health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree in health information management or related field preferred

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a construction or industrial setting

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic health record systems

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
