Job Summary
Part-time as needed; under 17.5 hours per week

The Head Volleyball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics. This position is responsible for the organization and administration of the volleyball program. The successful candidate will develop effective and positive communication with the students faculty alumni and community.
- HS Diploma
- Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills.
- Current knowledge of NCAA or NJCAA regulations.
- Ability to successfully recruit college level student athletes.
- Previous coaching experience.
- Evidence of a commitment to academic excellence including athlete graduation.
- Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes colleagues and the public.
- Capable and willing to actively plan and participate in fundraising promotions and other similar endeavors as they relate to the volleyball program and the entire Athletics Department.
- Commitment to community college goals and objectives of providing quality programs and services for culturally socio-economically ethnically and academically diverse students and students with disabilities; personal qualities to work effectively and with sensitivity in a multicultural environment; awareness of and commitment to the needs of non-traditional and/or re-entry students with diverse abilities and interests.
- Associates degree or higher
- Demonstrated recruiting of successful student-athletes preferred
- College coaching experience preferred
