Job Summary
Position Overview
The Head Varsity Boys Squash Coach is responsible for the overall leadership development and management of the varsity squash program. This includes coaching program planning and supporting the academic personal and athletic growth of student-athletes. The coach will work collaboratively with the Athletic Director and other members of the athletics department to ensure alignment with school goals and policies.
Responsibilities
Plan organize and oversee all aspects of the varsity squash program
Develop and implement effective training conditioning and skill development plans
Prepare student-athletes for practices matches and postseason competition
Promote high standards of conduct accountability and team culture
Ensure compliance with all school league and governing body regulations
Collaborate with the Athletic Director coaches faculty and staff to support departmental goals
Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes
Assist in program evaluation development and long-term planning
Foster positive relationships with students families and the school community
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous coaching experience at the high school collegiate or club level preferred
Strong knowledge of squash fundamentals match strategy and player development
Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills
Commitment to fostering a culture of respect teamwork and sportsmanship
Familiarity with interscholastic squash competition and governing bodies preferred
