Job Summary

We are a rapidly growing Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes improved quality of care and reduced healthcare costs. The cardiology market is at a turning point as AI-powered cardiac imaging moves from early adopter to standard of care and you will be the commercial architect who shapes how that happens at Elucid. As Head of Sales youll build and lead our US sales organization from the ground up: designing the territory model developing the playbook closing strategic accounts and establishing the practice development function that will drive utilization growth across the country. Were looking for a builder to drive the transition from early clinical adoption to scaled commercial growth.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7 years of proven sales leadership experience in SaMD medical imaging or AI-enabled clinical diagnostics with a track record of building high-performing field sales organizations.
  • Deep expertise in market access and reimbursement including experience navigating complex health system procurement and coding/billing education at the practice level.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies including territory design account segmentation compensation planning and CRM adoption (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI-augmented clinical decision support tools and the ability to articulate value to both clinical and administrative buyers.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience defining and tracking KPIs across pipeline growth conversion customer acquisition and retention.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and a consultative value-based selling approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the presence and credibility to represent Elucid at major industry conferences and clinical forums.
Work Location and Travel:
  • For local candidates in Greater Boston we operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office collaboration. Candidates outside of the Boston area are invited to apply as fully-remote employees.
  • Regular travel to industry events current and prospect client sites in-market eventsand ourBoston office required.
Salary Range:
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $250000-$325000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity job-related knowledge skills education relevant experience certifications and geography as outlined in the job description.

At Elucid we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
