Job Summary

Summary

The Head of Business Segment Cocoa & Malt is part of the Business Unit (BU) Flavor Creation reporting directly to the Head of the BU. Is responsible for the global development of the Business Segment Cocoa & Malt.

Job Responsibilities
  • You own the global cocoa processing solution portfolio and parts of malt roasting covering R&D automation engineering training marketing and sales
  • You expand the Cocoa & Malt segment to secure sustainable market leadership and profitable growth
  • You deliver the segments sales targets and proactively execute the Flavor Creation strategy to drive measurable business impact
  • You act as the key interface for local and global sales/service strengthen customer trust through technical and commercial consulting and convert opportunities into closed deals
  • You coach and develop teams create customer-specific quotation concepts with strong cross-functional alignment and drive innovation standards roadmaps and trials
Qualifications
  • University degree in engineering or food technology ideally complemented by a business qualification (e.g. MBA/NDS)
  • 5 years international sales experience in capital goods with strong negotiation skills and solid business/contract understanding
  • Business-minded proactive and creative with a highly customer-driven and confident professional presence
  • Persuasive self-reliant and culturally aware able to lead teams collaborate and manage conflicts effectively
  • Fluent in German and English and willing to travel internationally (up to 40%)
