JOB TITLE:Head High School Wrestling Coach

LOCATION: KunaHigh School

REPORTS TO: Principal and Athletic Director

HOURS: Temporary

SALARY: Stipend $4950 - 5940 depending on experience

BENEFITS: None

JOB SUMMARY:

TheHead coach is responsible for the organization and implementation of a successful program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coaching Experience
• Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of aWrestling program
• Demonstrated ability to accomplish the major duties listed below
• Positive public relations skills.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in coordinating the development and promotion of the program
2. Promotes all athletes to participate in sports and activities throughout the school year.
3. Assist in planning organizing and conducting practice sessions
4. Adjust coaching techniques based on the ability of athletes
5. Assist in arranging and conducting program-specific activities such as summer training skills-improvement sessions and pre-season try-outs
6. Instruct athletes in rules game strategies and performance principles
7. Provide training encouragement and motivation to prepare athletes for competition
8. Assist in generating additional funds for the support of the program through approved fundraisers
9. Professionally communicate with the media
10. Carefully operate under state/league/school rules and regulations.
11. Understand rules and regulations and is in compliance with High school activities (See link: )
12. Discipline adjusts grievances and works to increase morale and cooperation.
13. Deal with students parents staff and others in a positive encouraging manner.
14. Act ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.
